Main FTP Account
Your FTP password is the same one as your cPanel password, changing it would also change your cPanel and MySQL passwords.
If you still wish to change it please follow the steps outlined below:
- Login to cPanel
- Locate the "Preferences" section
- Click "Change Password"
- Input the details and click "Change your password now"
Once you have changed the password for your web hosting account, your FTP password will also have been changed.
Sub-FTP Accounts
To change the password of an FTP account you've created then follow the steps outlined below:
- Login to cPanel
- Locate the "Files" section
- Click "FTP Accounts"
- Click "Change Password" next to the account you wish to change the password to
