To move your .uk domain to us, you'll need to place your order via our website for a transfer and once complete, we'll email you to confirm the transfer is in progress and the registrar tag (also known as IPS Tag) to change the domain to via the losing (current) registrar.
To move your non-.uk domain to us (i.e .com, .net and other TLDs/ccTLDs), you'll need to ensure the domain is fully unlocked at the losing registrar and for them to issue an EPP key (transfer code). Once this has been done place a transfer order on our
domain order form, entering the domain you wish to transfer.
The time this process will take depends on the co-operation of your old registrar and can complete within a few minutes, or take a full 7 days.
When the transfer has been completed the status of your domain at my.xilo.net will be updated to 'Active' and you will be able to update the nameservers via my.xilo.net. We'll also email you to confirm completion.
If the tag is not changed, or the transfer is rejected, we'll email you to let you know.
