You may need to connect to the server to upload files before you point your namservers to us. In such cases, you'll need to connect via IP or the server hostname.
Connecting via IP Address:
This is the method of using your servers IP address to get connected, instead of your domain name. If you are unsure of the IP address, it can be obtained by following these steps.
- Login to cPanel
- Locate the "Status" section
- Look for the "Stats" section
This IP address can be used as an alternative to your domain name.
Your server IP can also be found in your welcome email.
Connecting via hostname:
An alternative way of connecting to the server is to use the server's hostname. This can be found in your welcome email.
