Email headers allow you to see information about the sender. For example, this includes, their email client and IP address.
To view the email headers in webmail:
- Horde - Click the "View Source" located at the top right of the email.
- RoundCube - Click on the "Show Source" button, located right above the email message itself.
- SquirrelMail - Click on the "View Full Header" located in the "Options" section above the email"s message body.
To view the email headers in an email client:
- Thunderbird - Click on "View" -> "Message Source"
- Mail - Click on "View" -> "Options" -> "Internet Headers"
- Outlook 2007 - Click on "Options" -> "Internet Headers"
- Outlook 2010 - Click "File" -> "Properties" -> "Internet Headers"
- Outlook 2013 - Click "File" -> "Properties" -> "Internet Headers"
